It has been really bothering me lately that the majority of my friends have been becoming reclusive. They are either working all the time or are just hiding away. It is making me feel quite lonely and, even though I have tried countless times to try to get them to come out and have fun with everyone, they seem to just avoid it.

I am not sure how many more times I am willing to try but it is really getting me down. We were all so close during sixth form, my friends made it bearable and it seems like we are drifting apart already. I would expect this slowly after we all go off to university or into employment but if it is happening when we are all still close to each other, then where was the value in our friendships?

It is both annoying and heartbreaking at the same time. My friends were, and still are my world and it seems to be crumbling under my feet.
